Pierre COMBRIS 


Pierre Combris is an economist, he graduated from Essec (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) and Paris IX Dauphine University .
He is a Research Director with the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA).

Since 1996, he is the head of the research lab on consumption which studies the evolution of food consumption and habits, as well as the consumers' choice mechanisms.

His research interests are : the evolution of food consumption in France since the 1950s, food economics, applied demand analysis and experimental economics.

Pierre Combris regularly lectures on the economics of food consumption. 

He is a member of the French National Council for Food  (Conseil National de l'Alimentation)‏.
