HEG celebrates its 10th anniversary

2014 is a very special year for the Hautes Études du Goût, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.

An extraordinary 10 year adventure: Offering professionals, from nearly 40 countries and 30 different professions or with different savoir-faire, who are curious and passionate about learning, a unique multidisciplinary training program which covers the numerous components that make up the world of taste, gastronomy and the art of fine dining.

10 years of promoting France through what it does best and excels at and specifically Reims and Champagne.

10 years of total commitment from top researchers and University Professors, who are widely recognized for their expertise in the subjects taught.

10 years of commitment from Reims Champagne-Ardenne University (URCA) where our program takes place in Reims and from where a DUGGAT University diploma is awarded.

We are marking this special anniversary by organizing a conference/debate* on the theme “What is eating well?” which will provide the opportunity for both personal reflection and exchange, on Monday October 20 at 2pm in Reims. During the conference, around ten high profile speakers will talk about the act of eating.

A number of graduates will also take part and be asked to talk about how the training, given year after year by the Hautes Etudes du Goût lecturers, motivated them to travel from far and wide to come and hear them speak and fitted in with their professional career.

Around fifty alumni, from the four corners of the globe, are coming to Reims especially for this celebration.
