Hautes Etudes du Goût 2010: a growing popularity among overseas professionals

2012 session class for Hautes Etudes du Goût program18 participants have been selected to attend the 6th HEG class.

Our program attracts an increasing number  of professionals worldwide motivated by an insatiable curiosity, and keen to improve their knowledge of gastronomy and taste.

The vast array of different cultures and backgrounds contributed to numerous exchanges between students, who came from the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Chefs, a dietician, wine & spirits sales teams, wine marketing & consulting agency director, a food writer, a cooking instructors, a wine club manager, a culinary consultants, a food development manager, etc... are among the 13 occupations represented this year.

We wish them lots of success so that they are able to come back to Reims and receive their Diploma next October, just like Rosemary, Noha, Peter, Julien, Amy... did this year.

A student summarized what many other 2010 participants felt: “Thank you so very much for two simply magical weeks. I cannot believe all I have learned and experienced – it seems almost like a dream now. This program is incredible, and I feel so fortunate to have been able to take part. A fabulous life-changing experience”.
