Welcome to the 2007 website edition of Hautes Etudes du Goût !


Our first two years allowed us to validate the relevance or our original concept.

The origins and profiles of our first students perfectly fitted our initial dream target.

They came from 10 different countries and very different professional backgrounds, but with one strongly shared curiosity and passion for the culture of taste and gastronomy, one common motivation to learn and grow in their own career.

The students found the programme intense, rich and really multidisciplinary : "we did not know that there was such a corpus of knowledge available and, more important, that it could be made accessible to people like us", summarised one of the students.

The professors also expressed their high level of satisfaction with the quality, the curiosity and involvement of our students. Several said they were proud to share their knowledge and latest findings with such a demanding group.

We are now starting our third course session (2007).

The learnings from the previous years now allow us to offer a new program pattern whereby classes will be concentrated over 2 weeks, half in Paris and half in Reims. This will make a significant improvement for our future candidates and facilitate their access to our most original and valuable program.
