2006 class

The Hautes Etudes du Goût's 2006 class once again brings together a group of students which represent a great diversity of professional backgrounds and cultures.

.

Eleven nations are represented this year: Taïwan, Irland, United-States, China, South Korea, France, Senegal, Italy, Mexico, Israël and Brazil.

Students are professional chefs, directors of culinary schools, consultant in food marketing, cooking instructors, wine importer in Asia ...etc, they all share the same passion for taste and gastronomy and all wish to increase their knowledge.

No less than 35 lecturers (university professors, reknowned experts) are ready to share their latest works and studies on issues such as sensorial neurobiology, the child's taste development, molecular gastronomy, the history of cuisine and gastronomy or even the sociology of tastes.

Many encounters await students, who will also share unique gustatory experiences, especially during exercice meals (dinner on medieval flavours, champagne and food pairings, molecular dinner, etc.).

We will soon share their news with you...

In 2006, Edouard Loubet brought more than twenty different sorts of aromatic herbs for his class.
